OS4 Update Out

By admin

Hey everyone,

We finally released the update that fixes many of the problems you’re having.

We accidentally introduced a bug that ignores your timer interval setting, but we have already submitted an update to apple to fix this issue. It should be out in a few days.

This update allows video rendering at HD resolutions, some of these are too big too be played on older devices. So if you’re experiencing green or blank video on playback, you may have to transfer the video to a computer to view it, or render at a lower resolution. You can also restart your device to free up memory. If you’re still having problems, please email us at labs at laan d0t com and tell us which model phone you have, and we will try to help out.

Thank you for finally releasing an update. It’s probably too little too late for most in here but I got the video to render finally that I shot 2 months ago. So at least it’s working.

Great programme! Got it a couple of days ago, and “shot” my first timelapse movie of clouds passing through (how imaginative ;-) yesterday – see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VozFKcvn84

While all the processing (rendering including addition of a sound track) can easily be done on the iPhone, I also found the interface to iTunes, and the export options to desktop computer quite smooth.

Downloaded the app a few days ago and rendered a 7 hour timelapse of a blooming flower with no problems: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiXtrpA7QXk

Details: iOS 4.1, took 2500 pictures (10gb), rendered 720p video (220mb) in about 1 hour, 10 second intervals, 16 fps. No playback issues. No problems transferring to PC. Great app.

Hi!! Great App!!

Is there anyway to shoot in HDRI mode for the camera, or setting a fixed aperture/shutter speed?

just downloaded the app leaving to Hawaii tomorrow, consider me a timelapse virgin but my quick question, how do I shoot a timelapse video, stop it, then shoot another one at a differant location but blend them together into one video? thank you
